Reed City Area Public Schools will hold second-round interviews for the Superintendent on Thursday, April 16, 2026, starting at 5:00 P.M. Interviews are open to the public, and there will be an opportunity to provide feedback for each candidate.

There will be an open house to meet the candidates from 3:30 to 4:40. Please enter door 2 on the east side of the high school.

Reed City Area Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 23, 2026.

All after-school events scheduled for tonight, Thursday, January 22, 2026, will take place as planned.

The Reed City Area Public School District is accepting applications to fill a current vacancy on the Board of Education. The individual appointed will serve until the November 3, 2026 election has been held and certified, at which time the newly elected individual will be sworn in to complete the term.

Interested persons may submit a letter of interest in the Board position highlighting their qualifications to the District Office no later than 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Applicants must be qualified school electors and meet the following requirements: be a registered voter in the school district; be at least 18 years of age; be a citizen of the United States; be a resident of Michigan for at least 30 days; and reside within the Reed City Area Public School District.

Following a review of the submitted materials, the Board may schedule interviews with selected candidates.
