We are sharing information regarding the Emergency Broadband Benefit. This program is applied for and managed through your internet service provider. We are including more information from the FCC as well as information from some popular internet service providers in our area.

From Charter:

"Beginning on May 12, 2021, the Emergency Broadband Benefit is a temporary FCC program to help households pay for Internet service during the pandemic. If you’re eligible, this new benefit will provide a monthly credit up to $50 per month, or up to $75 in Tribal lands, toward your broadband service bill.

Note: The Emergency Broadband Benefit is limited to one monthly service credit and one device discount per household. This includes any individual or group of individuals who are living together at the same address and share income and expenses.

This benefit will end once the program funds are exhausted."
