Homecoming Tailgate = Friday, October 1 after the parade (located in the HS lower parking lot) 

Homecoming Game = Friday, October 1 @ 7pm vs. Central Montcalm Hornets (gates open @ 6pm)

Homecoming Dance = Saturday, October 2 (8-11pm) @ Paris Stone Hatchery

Announcement for the Parade:

The Reed City Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Friday, Oct 1, 2021, @ 4 pm. If you have a group or organization interested in participating in the parade, please submit a request before Friday, September 24th @ 3 pm by completing the Google Form @ the following link: 

or by contacting the Reed City High School Assistant Principal, Stefanie Shoemaker, at 231.832.2224 ext. 2001. 

Parade Line-up and Route Information:

The line-up begins at 3:15 p.m. with the parade beginning at 4:00 p.m. The parade route is the following:

  • Line up in the RCHS parking lot facing North

  • East onto Church

  • North on Old 131/Chestnut/Northland Drive

  • West onto Upton

  • South onto Higbee

  • Into the RCHS parking lot

The homecoming parade will begin at 4:00 PM from the high school parking lot. All parade participants must enter the high school/middle school parking lot after 3:15 P.M. from the west entrance (Patterson Road) onto Coyote Trail. If dropping off parade participants, enter on Coyote Trail, but exit using the east drive (Chestnut Street). The entrances from the east (Chestnut Street) and the north (Church Avenue) will be blocked from all incoming traffic. These entrances will remain blocked until the parade procession returns to the school. 

 Attention Parade Drivers:  When returning to the school as the parade ends, please pull up into the parking lot before letting off students.
